FOR THE LOVE OF TEACHING
Ms. Elena Le has always loved teaching and is passionate about helping students develop an excitement for music and learning.  She’s been teaching piano for over 25 years and offers quality lessons that are fun, engaging and rewarding.  She tailors lessons to her students’ individual learning styles, musical interests and personal goals to ensure that what she teaches is relevant and motivating to each student.  Ms. Elena loves working with her students of all ages and levels and enjoys seeing them grow over the years, both musically and personally.  Her students will always be an inspiration for her to continually progress as a teacher and a person.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Ms. Elena believes in providing every student a custom-tailored, high quality, rewarding experience in piano lessons, helping students build skills and confidence, both on and off the piano bench.  She connects with each student in a unique way that celebrates their strengths and individuality, helps them bring the best out of themselves, reach their personal goals, and overcome their challenges–measure by measure, week by week.  Through this musical journey, Ms. Elena shows her students the power of a positive attitude, the importance of discipline and the value of dedication–and encourages them to apply these values to achieve success in their academic, professional and personal lives as well.

MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Ms. Elena started playing the piano when she was 5 and began teaching at the young age of 11.  She spent over 10 years in classical piano training and achieved the highest Advanced Level 10 Certification through the Music Teachers’ Association of California’s music study program, Certificate of Merit.  The program provides a standard of curriculum that requires students to strive for focused musical excellence in performance, technique, ear training, sight reading and music theory.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND 
Ms. Elena received her Master of Social Work from San Jose State University, with a concentration in School Social Work, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior with a minor in Business Management from the University of California, Irvine.  Her unique educational background provides a solid foundation of knowledge, skills and experiences to work effectively with a range of students, embracing their varying strengths, personalities and learning styles.  Ms. Elena always knew she would pursue a career where she could work with people to make a positive difference in their lives.

OUTSIDE OF LESSONS 
Ms. Elena enjoys crafting, hiking, traveling, eating and spending time with loved ones.
