LESSONS AT HOME
Lessons are offered conveniently in the student’s home in San Jose, CA and neighboring areas.  

LESSONS ONLINE
In addition to in-home lessons, online lessons are offered both regularly and to accommodate occasional illness, travel or other situations, to encourage the continuity of lessons.  

CUSTOM CURRICULUM  
Each student has a custom curriculum created to best fit his or her learning style, musical interests and personal goals.  Students are trained in fundamentals including piano performance, technique, sight reading, ear training, music theory and classical repertoire, and also encouraged to explore music from genres they enjoy, including pop, rock, country, gospel, electronic, new age, pieces from their favorite movies, television shows, video games, musicals and more!

GAMES AND TECHNOLOGY
One of the best ways to learn is to play!  Based on students’ interests and learning styles, a variety of physical and digital games, apps and exercises may be incorporated into lessons to teach and reinforce musical concepts and to keep lessons fun and engaging.

PIANO RECITAL
Our annual recital is an exciting opportunity for students to not only showcase their musical skills and progress, but to also build their confidence and stage presence.  It’s a fun afternoon of music, food, wine and even professional photography!

WEEKLY LESSONS 
Weekly private lessons are offered in 30, 45 and 60-minute sessions.  The teacher will determine the best lesson length for each student during the initial trial lesson, and will reassess throughout the course of the student’s musical journey, to ensure each student has the best opportunity to thrive.

LESSON CALENDAR
There are 40 weekly lessons offered during the Piano Year, September 1st through August 31st.  Lessons are offered every week, with the exception of 12 unbilled weeks reserved for the teacher to take off for various holidays, vacations, illnesses, emergencies or events that may arise throughout the year.  This eliminates the hassle of scheduling makeup lessons and ensures the teacher can provide students the best learning experience throughout the Piano Year.   

TWO FREE LESSONS
There are 2 unbilled lessons included in the annual flat rate tuition, reserved for the student to either take as free bonus lessons, or to take off for various holidays, vacations, illnesses, emergencies or events that may arise throughout the year.  This eliminates the hassle of scheduling makeup lessons and allows students to easily resume lessons the following week.

ALL-INCLUSIVE TUITION
Piano Lessons by Elena Le aims to make learning the piano not only an enjoyable and rewarding experience, but also a convenient one.  With the all-inclusive tuition structure, students pay a simple annual flat fee and enjoy a comprehensive range of services and benefits throughout the Piano Year, September 1st through August 31st, including:

• a dedicated weekly lesson time reserved for the student
• personalized lesson plans and individual repertoire selection
• all books, music and materials needed as the student progresses   
• access to subscription-based piano apps and resources
• an invitation to the formal recital and cocktail reception
• professional recital photos to download, share and print
• 40 weekly private lessons offered, tailored to the student’s goals
• 2 free lessons included in tuition, offered in lieu of makeups 

TRIAL LESSON
To pave the way for a happy, successful, long-term journey with each student, Ms. Elena offers a trial lesson for the student and parent to preview her teaching style and for Ms. Elena to learn more about the student’s interests, goals and learning style.  The trial lesson is a wonderful opportunity for both parties to meet, discuss expectations and assess for fit before committing to lessons together.
